Common Issues with L Shaped Brackets

Angle Deviation (Springback)

Hole Deformation Near Bends

If the mounting holes on an L Shaped Bracket are too close to the bend line, the stretching of the metal during forming can cause the holes to deform, making it impossible to insert fasteners.

Supro strictly adheres to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) guidelines. The distance from the hole edge to the bend line must be at least 2.5 times the sum of the material thickness and the bend radius (2.5T + R). Alternatively, holes can be punched after the bending process is complete.
