This is an excellent metal housing design with strong heat dissipation and waterproof function, which will be widely used in the new energy photovoltaic energy storage field in the future, and has applied for product design patent.
Within 10 days, Supro MFG completed the rapid prototyping of the aluminum housing and successfully passed the customer’s various harsh environmental tests to meet the customer’s application requirements. After 30 days, the first small batch of 500 units was delivered on time.

about Aluminum alloy 7075-t651
7075 aluminum alloy is a cold-treated wrought alloy that is strong and far superior to soft steel.7075 is one of the strongest alloys commercially available. Ordinary corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and anodic response. Fine grains allow for better deep drilling performance, increased tool wear resistance, and distinctive thread rolling.
Zinc is the main alloying element in 7075. Adding magnesium to an alloy containing 3%-7.5% zinc results in the formation of MgZn2, which has a significant strengthening effect, making the alloy’s heat treatability far superior to that of aluminum-zinc binary alloys. Increase the zinc and magnesium content in the alloy, the tensile strength will be further improved, but its resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will be reduced. Subjected to heat treatment, very high strength properties can be reached.
7075 materials are generally added to a small amount of copper, chromium and other alloys, the system to 7075-T651 aluminum alloy in particular, known as the aluminum alloy in the best products, high strength, far better than any soft steel. This alloy also has good mechanical properties and anodic reaction.
Representative uses are aerospace industry, blow molding (bottle) mold, ultrasonic plastic welding mold, golf head, shoe mold, paper and plastic mold, foam molding mold, wax mold, model, fixture, machinery and equipment, mold processing for the production of high-end aluminum alloy bicycle frame. It is especially used for making aircraft structure and other high stress structural body which requires high strength and corrosion resistance.
